Remarks: Context not an eroded fill layer as previously thought. Artifacts and silty layer suggest that context was purposly deposited. Artifacts included straight pins, large ceramic pieces (stonewear mug), pieces of wine bottle glass & nails. See field notes.

Supervisors Notes: Context gave way to a sandy, clayey fill of gravel and water-worn cobbles in most of the cellar, except along the SW corrner of the pedistal wall where #00247 gives way to a silty context that seems to run underneath the gravel erosion fill. Excavation o
